Barcelona Moon Team and its leader Galactic Suite, congratulates Space X for its successful launch of the Falcon 9 carrying the Dragon capsule to the ISS. This is a cornerstone an expanded role for the private sector in space, such as the Google Lunar X PRIZE itself, promoting new low cost methods for private space exploration.

Galactic Suite Group is a Barcelona based group of companies, which create opportunities around technology and people to promote a private access to Space. The group is actively involved in the change of paradigm in the space business, where public actors and traditional large contractors will share scenario with smaller private entrepreneurial initiatives.

The group first project is the Galactic Suite Spaceresort, which designs and promotes a commercial space hotel orbiting in low earth orbit dedicated to accommodate space tourists.

After that came other projects, such as the Barcelona Moon Team, the only Spanish team at the GLXP gathering all the national space industry.
