Surface Operations

The Rover Module will descend to the lunar surface autonomously to meet its mission objectives. These are divided into three types: compulsory, optional and specific to the BMT. The compulsory and optional objectives are defined by the X-Prize Foundation and the team has chosen compatible specific objectives for its rover, conceived as a scientific and commercial platform to Moon payloads.

Meeting BMT with Ernest Companys (Technotrends)

Mr. Companys from the company Technotrends, leader in videoconferencing technology, received the team today. Tecnotrends will collaborate with the team to achieve close communications among the different parties invovled in the BMT project.

Jordi Costa has joined the rover team today to discuss the problems associated with cryogenic temperatures in the mission surface operations.  A review of the materials used by the company Ham S.A. specialized in cryogenic gas transportation has proved very positive to the team.
