Governmental Support

The GLXP competition is open to privately funded teams, and the competition rules state that a maximum of 10% of the funds may come from government grants. This percentage does not include the sale of services to governments. However, local governments, regional and state governments wanted to give their support to the initiative which is an exciting project for the national aerospace industry, a small but growing strategic sector, and foster collaboration between companies, research centers and universities, meanwhile it will inspire youngsters to pursue STEM studies, and entrepreneurship
